Took my new GoPro camera out to Withrop for two days skiing. Edited straight without color correction. Had a great time skiing 53k, over the weekend. Saturday on the community trail with freshly groomed new snow (faceted in places would compact under weighted ski). Temps in the 20s with the sun popping out from the clouds in places. Part 1 of 3.
Freezing rain Saturday night left a nice quarter inch glaze over sidewalks, vehicles, and the trails making for some fast skiing. Temps in the low 30s. Skiied loops off the Winthrop Trail and Powers Plunge. Part 2 of 3.

Ed Viesters calls them “twofors” two peaks for the price of one. His are ultimately more involved than a 45min drive and a jaunt with some water bottels. None-the-less, Noal and I spend a great fall morning on Snoqualmie pass soaking in the views and sunshine.
